What will the kids do? The boys will have the opportunity to hand out t-shirts, water, trash cleanup after the race, escorting participants to the starting line, and cheer runners on, while also having the opportunity to meet Border Patrol agents as well as other Law Enforcement officers.

Where to meet? 3700 Water Street NW, Pedestrian Gates at beginning of C&O Canal Towpath (Near Rosslyn Metro Station)

Parking: The venue is at the dead end of K Street/Water Street NW in Georgetown.  There is limited on street parking, but there is a parking garage very close to the site that is going to charge $11.  Carpooling may be a good idea.

Make a day of it! Georgetown has lots of restaurants, and Theodore Roosevelt Island is a fun and easy place to hike and explore, very near the site of the race. There’s also kayak and bike rentals right off the towpath.
