December Pack Meeting Special Event
  • What: Sharing traditions, faiths and cultures.
  • When: Thursday, December 16, 2021, 7:00 - 8:00pm  (set up at 6:30 pm)
  • Where: St. Bernadette School, 80 University Blvd. E., Silver Spring, MD (map)

This December pack meeting, we highlight traditions of diverse faiths and cultures. Pack 275 is looking for up to 12 families to host tables related to a variety of religious/cultural tradition. It can be the traditions of your own family (or ancestors) or you can research the traditions of another culture and present that. Usually, there is some food, craft or other hands-on activity at each table - sometimes there is a presentation of some sort, like a song, or story.

The tables will be set up around the meeting room and scouts will visit each table to learn about the different faiths and cultures.  It is ok to have multiple tables representing the same faith or culture as often the tradition being represented (food, craft, activity and/or story) is different.
