Annual Scout Food Drive
One of Scouting’s foundational principles is “doing a good turn daily.” Scouting For Food is a national Boy Scout food drive every November. Locally, our food collection goes to Manna Food Center - it's the biggest annual donation they receive! Meet at Christ Congregational Church where you will be assigned a route of a few blocks within walking distance. On November 2nd, the boys drop off flyers and bags at the houses on their route. It can take as little as 30 minutes to drop off the flyers. On November 9th, parent drivers follow the boys along the route and the boys pick up filled bags and put them in the car. Then back at the church we sort the groceries. Come to one or both Scouting for Food Events! Note: We will assemble flyers/bags with rubber bands at the pack meeting October 23. This is a very fun event and we need many hands to assemble over 1,000 bags, so please be sure to join us! Contact:
